- Flouride deactivates chlorhexidine gluconate. Wait at least 30 minutes after using fluoridated mouth products before swishing.
- Do not dilute the solution with water or any other liquid.
- Avoid eating, drinking, and rinsing your mouth for at least 1 hour after using chlorhexidine gluconate.
- Your sense of taste may be affected while using chlorhexidine gluconate.
