(2004-12-17) s: last night i dreamed i was knee-deep in water, waiting for a boat. as i was climbing out of the water onto a dock, i saw that i'd been standing in an underwater butterfly breeding place. and all the butterflies had just come out of their underwater cocoons (or had just transformed from their infancy as caterpillar-tadpoles or something) and an entire generation of miniature butterflies was clinging to my legs. most of them were orange, but there were butterflies in every color, thousands of them. i shouted to a friend to grab a camera and photograph this most amazing happening, but by the time he arrived with the camera, all the butterflies had gone.

2004-01-25 ~10:40:43 <g> had a dream last night that i was this blond water-skiier dude, and i was waterskiing and someone said 'don't run over the kids in the water' so then i look around and find that the river i'm on is full of kids, but i can't tell the difference between kids in floaty toys and swamp grass, so i basically can't avoid running over them. in frustration i run aground and find myself hanging out with a couple of dodobirds in their nests, which are full of wierd turd-like eggs. so i am so overwhelmed by the presence of the dodobird that i start to cuddle it on my lap, petting it and loving it. and decide i'll take up the cause of saving the dodobirds (i'm apparently on a dodo bird preservation). i go back later that day to find the nests have been pilfered, then someon has the nerve to offer me a burrito containing.. dodobird eggs==== well, i'm totally pissed, (because i'm in love with the dodobird by this time) that i decide to go on these eco-terrorist raids on the headquarters of the badguys who'd raided my dodobird sanctuary. and the dream turns into something like an alias episode, only i'm slinking around ninja-style with these dodobird ninjas.
