The park is located 52 miles east of Las Cruces. Albuquerque is about 220 miles North of Las Cruces. So, we are looking at a 260 mile drive. Say, maybe 4 hours. Not too bad.
I want to hike the Alkali Flat Trail (bottom of the page).
